The new AirPods reinvent wireless headphones. Take them out of their charging case, and they work right away with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac.

After a one-touch setup, the magic of AirPods works. They turn on automatically and always stay connected. They even detect when you put them in your ear and pause what you're listening to as soon as you take them out.

To adjust the volume, change songs, make a call, or even get directions, just say “Hey Siri” and make your request. You can wear both AirPods or just one. And when you're listening to music or podcasts, a double tap is all it takes to start playback or skip to the next track.

AirPods give you 5 hours of listening time  and 3 hours of talk time on a single charge. And they can accompany you everywhere, thanks to their case which allows multiple recharges and delivers more than 24 hours of autonomy. Need a quick recharge? By placing your AirPods in their case for 15 minutes, you will get 3 hours of listening  or 2 hours of conversation.

Featuring Apple's new H1 headphone chip, AirPods use optical sensors and motion accelerometers to detect when you're wearing them. Whether you're using both AirPods or just one, the H1 chip automatically routes audio and activates the mic. And when you're on the phone or talking to Siri, another voice-detecting accelerometer works in tandem with beamforming mics to filter out background noise and focus on your voice.
